If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to take delivery of a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto in Italy, buckle up—because this experience was everything except ordinary. From chaotic travel days to near-death scooter rides and a jaw-dropping unveiling, our La Prima journey to Lamborghini’s hometown in Sant’Agata Bolognese was unforgettable.
A Rocky Start: United Airlines vs. The Revuelto
Let’s start with the not-so-glamorous part. Our journey began like any other, but the travel gods had other plans. Thanks to United Airlines system-wide issues, we endured a full day of delays, terminal swaps, rebookings, and a grand tour of U.S. airports before finally landing in Rome… with a whopping $15 meal voucher in hand. (Spoiler alert: that barely covers Chick-fil-A waffle fries at an airport.)
Roman Adventures: Scooters, Castles, and Chaos
Despite a brutal travel day, Rome didn’t disappoint. From historical sightseeing to chaotic scooter rides through ancient streets, we squeezed in laughs, close calls, and a fair amount of people-watching. Yes, we may have violated several traffic laws. No, the Carabinieri didn’t catch us—yet. Rome served as a brief (and slightly unhinged) layover before heading to Bologna for the big moment: the La Prima experience at Lamborghini HQ.
La Prima: The Revuelto Reveal
La Prima isn’t just a car delivery—it’s an event. Hosted by Lamborghini at the factory in Sant’Agata, this exclusive experience includes a private tour of the Lamborghini Museum, a look behind the scenes at production, and a top-secret unveiling that we are sworn to secrecy about (literally). All we can say is: it was emotional. Nearly tear-worthy. Definitely goosebump-inducing. When the Revuelto was finally revealed to us, the color blew our minds. We've been keeping the spec a secret since last August, and even after all this time, seeing it in person was beyond what we imagined. This car is wild. A true next-gen hybrid supercar that still carries Lamborghini DNA in its soul.
Final Thoughts: Everything We Imagined
This trip was pure magic. The La Prima experience is something every Lamborghini enthusiast should consider, whether you're getting a Revuelto, an Urus, or the Huracán replacement. Seeing your car for the first time, surrounded by Lamborghini history and energy, is something that hits differently in Sant’Agata.
